Our Franklin Park West garden style apartment complex, which is located at Franklin Park West in Vernon, has brick facing and vinyl siding.  This project is Federally funded. 

 This complex is made up of 16 single-level buildings, 4 apartments per building, for a total of 64 units, all 1- bedroom.  One building (4 apts.) has been equipped for the vision and hearing impaired.

 The apartments use electric heat, which is included in the rent.  Each apartment is equipped with stove; refrigerator and an emergency pull cord.  They are all cable ready.  We have recently installed a new fire alarm system.

 The dumpster and recycling bins are located at the front office entrance.  Our laundry facility is located between the Franklin Park East and Franklin Park West complexes.  It is a new facility with five washers and dryers; one of each is handicap accessible. There is a community room and laundry room for our tenant’s convenience.  The mail is picked up and delivered to the individual tenants'  units. 

 The Community Renewal Team (CRT) serves lunch in our community area, (which is equipped with a full kitchen facility) on weekdays for a small donation.  Our office building common areas (including restrooms) have been renovated to make them handicap accessible according to HUD 504 guidelines.
