General Guidelines:
Individuals must meet certain requirements to participate
in the housing programs of the Vernon Housing Authority. The following
represent basic requirements.
Interested parties are advised to contact the Vernon Housing Authority directly
for more complete and specific information as individual circumstances may vary.
The basic guidelines for "Senior Housing" are:
- Income not to exceed $40,250 for an individual or
$46,000 for a couple
- At least age 62
The basic guidelines for the "Scattered Sites" are:
- Dedicated to families
- Follows Section 8 guidelines and requirements
Other:
- Federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines
regarding handicap or disability may apply.
