Guidelines

Applicants must meet certain requirements in order to participate in the housing programs of the Vernon Housing Authority. Income Limits

To participate in a state or federal housing program, applicants must earn less than 80% of the area median income. GROSS annual income is NOT to exceed:

1 person household $44,950
2 persons household $51,400
3 persons household $57,800
4 persons household $64,200
5 persons household $69,350

To participate in a state housing program, applicants must be able to meet base rent as determined by the Vernon Housing Authority.
 

Section 8

The Section 8 program provides assistance for low-income families in the private rental market through the Housing Assistance Payments Program.
